CF1 and Hibari: consacré à (2000) for piccolo solo
アメリカに生まれ、現在はアイルランドに在住。作品はラホヤ交響楽団、ヤノシュ・ネギッシー＆パイヴィキ・ニクター (２台ヴァイオリン)、ジョン・マーク・ハリス (ピアノ)、そしてレナード・ロット (チェロ) などによって演奏される。最近では、ダブリン電子芸術祭で作品が取り上げられる。作曲活動の傍ら、 RTÉ（アイルランド放送協会）主催のリリック・ディフュージョン賞の審査員、TWEAKデジタルアートフェスティバルの選考員も務める。
従来の作曲技法を用いつつ、リアルタイム・コンピュータ・ミュージック、空間音響学、エレクトロサウンドとアコースティックサウンドの融合、各分野に審美的そして哲学的な側面より、研究に取り組んでいる。
カーネギー・メロン大学、カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校で作曲、指揮及び電子・コンピューター音楽を学んだ後、パリ・ソルボンヌ大学第4分校に電子音楽の一年間の客員研究員として招かれる。これまでに、ロジャー・レイノルズ、ミラー・パケット、ハヤ・チェルノヴィン、マーク・バティエ、F・リチャード・ムーワの各氏に師事。
カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校、アーヴァイン校での兼任講師を経て、現在、アイルランドのリメリック大学、デジタルメディア芸術研究センターで教鞭を取る。同大学のSpADE (空間音響学ならびに環境音響学研究) の主導者的立場にいる。

Kerry was born in the United States and currently lives in Ireland. Her music has been performed by the La Jolla Symphony, János Négyesy, Päivikki Nykter, John Mark Harris, and Reynard Rott. Recent performances include Soundings in Limerick and the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival. Kerry has also been on the jury for the RTÉ Lyric Diffusion Prize competition and curated the Listening Post for the TWEAK festival.
Additionally, Kerry engages in practice-based research, using compositional practice to explore and define aesthetic and philosophical implications of real-time computer music, spatialization and sound diffusion techniques, and musical time in electronic and acoustic music.
She studied at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of California, San Diego in music composition, conducting, and electrical and computer engineering. She spent one academic year as a visiting researcher at Université Paris Sorbonne-Paris IV working in electroacoustic musicology. She studied under Roger Reynolds, Miller Puckette, Chaya Czernowin, Marc Battier, and F Richard Moore.
Kerry taught as adjunct faculty at UCSD and the University of California, Irvine. She is currently on the faculty at the University of Limerick, Ireland within the Digital Media and Arts Research Centre. She is the Principal Investigator for the Spatialization and Auditory Display Environment (SpADE) at the University of Limerick.
